The Kiev district court of Poltava will continue to consider a criminal case against the mayor of Kharkiv Gennady Kernes accused of torture of Euromaidan activists on 3 July.
The session is scheduled for 11.00, will lead the judge Andrey Antonov.
Earlier the Deputy of the mayor of Kharkiv Tatiana Ovinnikova reported about suspicion.
Recall that in March 2015, the Prosecutor General’s office reported Kernes on suspicion of crimes under three articles. He is charged with unlawful imprisonment or kidnapping, torture and death threats.
The last court session on the case of Kernes on August 29 was not held because of the absence of the mayor. The next meeting is scheduled for September 26.
