The court extended the ex-mayor of Slavyansk of a measure of restraint in form of detention without possibility of bail.
Kharkiv court for two months extended the detention of the former mayor Sloviansk Neelie Shtepa. About it reported in a press-service of Prosecutor’s office of Kharkiv region.
According to the prosecution, the decision was taken today, July 24, during a meeting of the Lenin regional court of Kharkov. Shtepa, the court extended the measure of restraint in form of detention without possibility of bail until September 21, 2017.
The next meeting is scheduled for 9 August at 14:00.
Earlier it was reported that the Leninsky district court of Kharkiv finished questioning the ex-mayor of Slavyansk Nely Shtepy.
Shtepa was arrested on July 13, 2014
She’s accused of committing criminal offenses under part 3 of article 110 (encroachment on territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, which caused death of people) and part 1 of article 258-3 (creation of terrorist group or organization) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
