The court extended the arrest of the Lipetsk confectionary factory Roshen

The company cannot dispose of his property for almost two years.

Basmanny court of Moscow extended the arrest of the Lipetsk confectionery factory Roshen until 13 June, the press Secretary of the court Juno Tsarev.

Arrested 14 properties, including finished goods warehouse, four workshops, and a utility building housing and seven land plots with a total area of 700 thousand square meters.

The property of the factory is under arrest from April 2015 in the framework of the criminal case of illegal compensation of the VAT on 180 million roubles. In this regard, the ICU group, which has a mandate to sell Russian assets Roshen, can’t find a buyer.

On 20 January, the “Roshen” announced the intention to cease the operation of the factory in Lipetsk in April. This decision is explained by the fall in output and the decline in the range after the ban of Roskomnadzor of Ukrainian exports of Roshen products to Russia.
