The costs of subsidies in Ukraine has decreased

In November 2017, the subsidy received 6.6 million households in Ukraine.

For 11 months of 2017 (Jan-Nov) total amount of subsidies for payment of housing and communal services in Ukraine amounted to UAH 3.7 billion, which is 17.4% less compared to the same period last year.

This is evidenced by the State statistics service (gosstat).

Since the beginning of 2017 grants assigned for 8.5 million families, which amounts to 106.5% of the total number of households that applied for them, and 25.8% more than in 11 months of last year.

The average size of grants for compensation of expenses on payment zhilkomuslug in Ukraine per family in November 2017 fell by 51% in comparison with November 2016 and totaled UAH 540.

In the state statistics service noted that the November 2017 subsidies received 6.6 million households in Ukraine, accounting for 44.3 per cent of the total.

We will remind that the Cabinet of Ministers had previously approved the introduction of the monetization of subsidies from 1 January 2018.

Thus, in Ukraine from November 2, the payment of funds for the project of monetization of subsidies, savings from reducing consumption of electricity and gas during the last heating season.
