The consequences of the war in an unusual photo project by David Jay. Photo

Photo project “the Unknown soldier” new York photographer David J. (David Jay) devoted not to war, and its consequences.

For three years he took pictures of veterans who were crippled in Iraq and Afghanistan. Jay would visit them in military hospitals, and also visited the house in a circle of close relatives.

The photographer surprised the kind of information veil. Despite the ongoing war, the tragedy was not lit. Even when the public learned about the number of dead and wounded, these people remained abstract shapes and figures.
