This is not the first case of copying Apple products in North Korea.
North Korean Myohyang company IT Company has released its own tablet computer called iPad Ryonghung. In their advertising the manufacturer just calls it iPad.
The tablet has got a Quad-core processor with a clock frequency of 1.2 GHz and one Gigabyte of RAM. The internal memory of the gadget from North Korea eight gigabytes. Manufacturers claim that it has been certified by the local regulator.
“Ryonghung iPad is very popular among buyers. It can perform a variety of functions, including reading a variety of sources of digital information, as well as performing office tasks and working with documents”, — stated in the brochure.
It is noted that the features of the Ryonghung iPad in the presence of “the network” and keyboard included. The tablet is pre-installed over 40 apps, including a calculator, encyclopedia on health and medical service Good Doctor 3.0.
This is not the first case of copying Apple products in North Korea. So, in 2015, in Pyongyang started selling candy bar, is very similar to the iMac.
