For a decision voted by 39 members of the Committee, four were against and one abstained, said the Brussels correspondent of Radio Freedom Rikard Jozwiak on Twitter.
Also, the Committee heard a report from a member of the Committee on civil liberties, justice and home Affairs of the European Parliament Michael Boni. According to him, Ukraine has not only fulfilled all the requirements of the EU to provide visa-free regime, but “exceeded expectations”.
Now Ukraine still has to pass only three treatments to get bezviz with the EU. The next step will be to consider the abolition of visas for Ukrainians in the European Parliament on 5 April.
After that the issue will re-examine the representatives of the member countries of the EU (COREPER) and adopt the Council of Europe.
