The Verkhovna Rada Committee on rules at its meeting did not recommend the Parliament to remove the immunity of MP from the popular front Eugene Dade.
“The idea… is inadequate, unreasonable, unmotivated, and does not contain specific facts. The findings of the investigation substantiate the assumptions, and the legality of evidence is questionable, that he could not confirm the fact of Commission of Dade a criminal offense”, – said the head of the Committee Pavel Pynzenyk.
It is noted that “for” votes of almost all members of the Committee present, only two abstained.
Now the Committee’s decision will be transmitted to the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, as provided by the regulations.
