Great Wall company is interested to purchase from FCA unit for the production of Jeep/
A leading Chinese manufacturer of pickups and SUVs Great Wall is interested in buying production line of Jeep SUV, which is part of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA).
This is with reference to sources familiar with the situation.
The leadership of the Chinese company requested a meeting with representatives of Italian-American FCA to make an offer to purchase all or part of the Italian-American car group.
Earlier it was reported that the Great Wall is interested in the redemption of the FCA unit for the production of SUV Jeep. Great Wall President Wang Panin confirmed that the company has contacted Fiat Chrysler to begin negotiations.
Last week, representatives of Fiat Chrysler has announced its intention to join the Alliance, led by BMW for cars with the self, who is working on unmanned taxi for quick access and payment via smartphone.
Recall that the Great Wall is a major private automobile company in China. The holding includes four companies producing cars and 20 subsidiaries that manufacture automotive components.
