The Chinese send ships to asteroids

Scientists from China are preparing for the development of the resources on asteroids by 2025.

About the plans of the researchers told the adviser of the chief designer of the lunar probe Chinese Corporation of space science and technology E Pazzani.

“We’re going to start exploring the asteroids after the first mission to Mars, which will take place in 2020 and 2025. Asteroids are interesting for us, because they have resources that will play an important role in the future development of mankind. Details of the program are under negotiation,” – said the official.

In the future it is planned to carry out a flyby of asteroid Apophis (Apophis) and land on an asteroid 1996 FG3. This dwarf planet, the probe will take soil samples.

Also, Chinese scientists actively study the feasibility of space flight to Jupiter.
