The chamber under the Parliament: protesters issued an ultimatum Poroshenko

Poroshenko gave the protesters five days to fulfill their requirements.

The participants of the protest action near the Verkhovna Rada, who called themselves veterans of the struggle for independence, declared the President of Ukraine Peter Poroshenko ultimatum: five days to submit to the Parliament draft laws on impeachment of the anti-corruption court. It happened today during the briefing at the makeshift stage in a tent city on the street.

“The ultimatum to Petro Poroshenko: within five working days, namely, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, you Mr. President must submit to Parliament a law on impeachment of the President”, – said the participant of the Assembly who introduced himself as an officer of the battalion “Donbass” with the Callsign “katana”.

At the same time, “katana”, said that the second paragraph of the ultimatum – introduction in Parliament of a bill on the anti-corruption court.

“Second, during those five days, you will have to submit to the Parliament a draft law on anti-corruption courts. Traitors should be in prison,” he said.

However, katana said that if these requirements are not met, the veterans of the war of independence will show what they are capable of.

“If our demands are not translated into reality, we will show who we are and what we can do. Don’t make us, Peter. Remember the story of Romania, Nicolae Ceausescu”, – he stressed.

And another member of the Council, presented to the demobilized members of the Armed forces of Ukraine of the third special forces regiment from the city onward with the call sign “Khortytsya”, declared the demands that the protesters were announced from 17 Oct: the establishment of the Anticorruption court, the lifting of parliamentary immunity and the change of the electoral legislation. At the chamber was attended by about 200 people.

Recall that near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on 17 October began the campaign, participants of which demanded to cancel parliamentary immunity, to create anti-corruption court and to change the electoral law. Activists pitched there a tent city. October 20, Deputy Yegor Sobolev said that the protesters are not going to fold the tent and collect on Saturday, October 21, at 18.00 the national chamber.
