The Minister of energy made a reassuring prediction.
In Ukraine there is no reason for rolling blackouts during the heating season. This was stated by Minister of energy and coal industry of Ukraine Igor Nasalik.
“I see no prerequisites for Ukraine had blackouts or “blackouts”. On the contrary, we are able to export electricity not only for domestic needs of population and industry. So it’s not true,” said Nasalik.
According to him, the most difficult situation was in the summer, when according to the plans of repairs, in Ukraine there were only 10 nuclear units.
“But now the situation is completely different. We have already introduced the 4th “Zaporozhye” block. Within a month four more nuclear power unit included in the overall work, and four of the block is 4 thousand MW,” the Minister explained.
He said that even at minus 40 in the winter in Ukraine will not be interruptions to the supply of electricity to the population and industry.
