For the first time in Ukraine introduced a medium-term budget planning.
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the Main directions of budget policy for the 2018-2020 year, the Finance Ministry on his page in Facebook.
For the first time in the history of budgeting in Ukraine approved the medium-term budget resolution for three years, the report says. The corresponding decision was accepted at session of the government.
“This is a systematic change in fiscal policy, which should ensure a strategic approach to identifying priority actions and allocating resources effectively”, – notes the Ministry of Finance.
The Ministry claims that this will ensure financial stability, control of public debt of Ukraine, the efficiency of budget spending and more.
When there is a growth in 3, 4 and 5 percent for the next three years.

Thus, at the Cabinet meeting on 31 may adopted a resolution on the deterioration in GDP from 3 to 1.8 percent.
