The Cabinet of Ministers approved the concept of reforming and development of the State fiscal service.

“The government team with international experts worked on the concept of the reform of the SFS. Reform is complex and requires making difficult decisions,” said Finance Minister Alexander danyluk, presenting the program.

According to him, it is necessary to change the management team in the SFS Central office and territorial bodies. In addition, the need to reduce the number of legal entities of the service.

“There are a number of legal entities that are engaged in logistical base and support, as well as accounting and others. They should not be so much,” said the Minister.

The reform will also affect the functionality of the service, which should become in the future a larger part of the service. May is also planned to reduce the number of customs offices from 27 to one Central. “Customs points on the ground will remain, but they will report directly to the Central customs office”, – said danyluk.

He also said it will cut the number of employees who work at customs posts, in order to reduce to a minimum the human factor.
