The Cabinet adopted a decision on introduction of licensing of export coal anthracite from Ukraine. The decision was taken today, may 18, according to government portal.
Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers aimed at ensuring balance in the domestic market, prevention of the uncontrolled export of anthracite coal and anthracite supply of Ukrainian power generating companies in full volume, – stated in the message.
It is noted that the draft decision was developed pursuant to the decision of the Council of 16 February “On urgent measures to neutralize threats to energy security of Ukraine and strengthen protection of critical infrastructure.
Licenses will be issued by the Ministry in coordination with the Ministry of energy and coal industry. The agreement will be implemented without the involvement of the enterprise in the procedure of interdepartmental information exchange.
