The Cabinet figured out how to punish the artists performing in Russia

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has developed a bill, which proposes to financially punish the Ukrainian artists for tours in Russia. Additionally, performers will make a special registry.

According to Vice Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko, the bill was submitted to Parliament in March.

Before showing the clip or the performances of each actor on television will appear in the corresponding caption or a voice message (radio edit).

The official stressed that the bill requires traveling in the territory of the aggressor state to inform the SBU about his part in all the entertainment events in Russia.

Artist for a tour to Russia may also pay a tour fee of 20%.

“And earmarked these funds should go to support national defense and national security of Ukraine. In this regard, changes in the Tax and Budget codes,” added Kirilenko.

He also said that now against the bill were mainly television stations, which in the rotation of video clips featuring some of the performers who visited Russia over the past few years.

“However, we can say that the number of our stars, who are touring in Russia, has decreased dramatically since the beginning of serious conversation about the introduction of this bill. Touring so little known, and that causes a huge resonance, that only confirms that this issue must be resolved, because all previous action on the settlement was in the initiative of public activists. Blocked the concerts of those who support in Russia, in different cities of Ukraine – from East to West, from North to South. Of course, it caused a lot of tension, because there was a resonance, collisions, as a rule, these concerts were broken. Not to bring the case to this, it is necessary for the society to give the corresponding assessment to such phenomena and such performers by message through all media, which broadcasts their videos or songs regarding their participation in the tour on the territory of the aggressor country”, – summed up the politician.
