Three years ago Britain has to fork over 285 million pounds for the construction on the territory of Saint Helena, a modern airport.
However, the designers made several mistakes, and if we add a constant and strong side wind, it turns out that the airport cannot receive large aircraft.
At the same time, small planes drop in here very rarely. To date, the last plane flew to the island six months ago. It was a flight from Johannesburg with 78 passengers.
Therefore, the airport has gained a reputation as the most pointless in the world.
