Does it make sense to translate the classic black and white films in color? Well, maybe some is. It animates the picture and, most importantly, draws attention to some forgotten by the masses of the masterpieces of the past. However, if we are talking about such famous and beloved Comedy television series of the 60s as “the boxtrolls” (they are “Mystery”, The Munsters) and “the Addams Family” (The Addams Family) in which the artsy gloom of the notorious black-belost seemed more chips show than disadvantages. However, a Zach, Smathers such questions is given, and just does it. And I must admit, he’s doing so well!

My name is Zach, Smathers, and I am an artist in colour, whose big dream is to paint classic TV series. Most of my projects demonstrate time-lapse painting, rotoscoping and motion tracking with the constant use of the materials from the “Monsterb”. My goal is to paint videos and images with vibrant and realistic colors, avoiding the feeling of the plane, which is typical for traditional coloring.
