Some people just can’t imagine starting a day without caffeine. Morning Cup of coffee invigorates, different than a cold shower, many say.
But, as recent research by Australian nutritionist Lindy Cohen, in fact, the strength of the morning coffee significantly overvalued.
There are more appropriate times for consumption of this drink. The fact that the consumption of coffee in the morning is happening on the background of increased concentration of cortisol, a stress hormone in the body. And cortisol reduces the effectiveness of coffee.
Better drink coffee between the hours of 10:00 to 12:00, when the level of the hormone is on the decline.
The last intake of tea should occur at 14:00. In the second half of the day coffee should be replaced with herbal tea. Nutritionist admits: “Everyone is addicted to coffee in different ways. I recommend not to eat caffeine six hours before bedtime to ensure a comfortable stay. In General, the day should not consume more than 400 milligrams of caffeine. This is equivalent to two cups of coffee.”
