The auto industry in Ukraine shows a sharp increase in

In the total volume of car production the majority of them were passenger cars.

In August 2017 in the Ukrainian factories produced 742 vehicles, which is 116% higher than in August last year, and 45% more than in July 2017.

This was announced by the relevant Association Ukrautoprom.

In the total volume of car production the majority of them were passenger cars, which was released 642: +58% in July and +108% compared to August last year.

Also in August, it produced 68 buses, such volume of production is 17% more than the July figure, and 94% over last year’s August.

At the same time, trucks were registered in 32, which is a third less than the indicator of July of this year. In last year’s August truck statistics has not been, as from this month, the company AvtoKrAZ inexplicably ceased to disclose information on volumes of production of their cars.

In just eight months of 2017, Ukraine produced 4874 vehicles, 74% more than last year’s result. Of them:

Cars – 4125 PCs (+86% compared to the same period last year).

Commercial vehicles – 286 pieces (-41%).

Bus – 463 PCs (+333%).
