The airmen staged a spectacular show in честь70 anniversary of the Antonov An-2

Demonstration flights took place near Kiev.

The 70th anniversary of the famous aircraft An-2 was noted in Kiev. In the distant 1947, the biplane first took to the air.

The celebrations took place at the airport of Gostomel, to the airport “the Seagull” flew the legendary An-2, and he rose to meet the upgraded An-2-100. Aircraft in the sky performed a few tricks, which he has captured the breath of spectators. However, experienced pilots Sergey Tarasyuk and Anatoly Ruzhany no danger prevented, and their maneuvers in the air summed up in one word: “Perfect!”.

On earth the participants of the recent record-breaking flight received the diplomas of Champions – achievement, entered in the register of Ukrainian records and already considered at the global level. Officials are confident that the diplomas on new achievements will not be forthcoming, as the new head of “Antonov” believes that modernized an-2-100 will have demand in the market. “Today, when I saw two of these machinge go fender to fender and is doing in the sky – I’m impressed,” admitted Alexander, Krivokon.

An-2 was conceived by designer Oleg Antonov during the second world war as a universal plane. He later admitted that this plane became the largest success in his life.
