The actor died Sonny Landham, starring in the original “Predator”

Looking back, remembering the movies of the 80s, 90s years of the last century, comparing them with modern tapes, I often find myself thinking that modern cinema is experiencing a severe lack of charisma. From the screens we see the same “sleek” person, and I know that not every viewer is able to distinguish Chris Pratt Chris Hemsworth. And, for example, characters horror ekshena “Predator” (Predator, 1987) most know and now, after many years. The gift that the star pattern was Arnold Schwarzenegger, the rest of the castes were matched so great and looked so “juicy” and authentic that you just can’t forget this brave team of fortune hunters… And one of them died.

Sonny Landham died as a result of a heart attack at the age of 76. In the last days he was surrounded by the care of son William and daughter Priscilla. I should add that in 2015 the actor was injured in a car accident, and due to health problems he had to amputate both legs.

In “Predator” Landham played mercenary Soul Billy, the Indian tracker, who courageously decided to fight the alien hunter in melee. In the 80s Sonny starred in several cult movies of the era, such as “Action Jackson”, “Nick”, “48 hours,” “Warriors”. Few people know, but he played in the famous horror movie “Poltergeist”. As for “Predator”, the part of Sonny in this film is associated with a funny story. The insurance company insisted that Lendama on the set was accompanied by security guards, and the duty of the latter was… to protect from Sonny, who loved to fight, and other participants of the film crew and actors.
