The abduction of the Ukrainians in Belarus: fresh details

The head of the SBU Basil Gritsak assumes that the missing Belarusian 19-year-old Ukrainian Pavlo Mushroom holds the Federal security service (FSB) of Russia.

He said this at a briefing.

“Unfortunately, we are not very much aware of this history. All we know is that the Belarusian border guards have confirmed the arrival on the territory of the Republic of Belarus Paul, and that from there, he went,” said Hrytsak.

“We can only guess, and now we catch fragmentary information about where he might be, but you and we understand that, most likely, it is in the hands of the FSB in the Russian Federation”, – said Hrytsak.

August 28 member of the public Council of the state border service of Ukraine Ihor Hryb said about the disappearance of his 19-year-old son, Paul Mushroom. He reported that on August 24, his son went to Gomel to meet with a girl whom had previously met and communicated only on social networks. This girl, according to the son, had to come from Russia. Mushroom said that Paul had to come back the same day. When this did not happen, he went in search of the son in Gomel.

In Gomel the father found out that his son is wanted under article 205 of the Criminal code (terrorist act), and the initiator of search is the FSB for the Krasnodar territory (Sochi). On 29 August the foreign Ministry of Ukraine said that the authorities of Belarus confirmed the information about the content of Paul’s Mushroom detained in special facilities in this country. Media wrote that Paul Mushroom can hold in Krasnodar in the local branch of the FSB. August 30, Deputy foreign Minister Olena zerkal said that Ukrainian diplomats have not managed to establish contacts with Russian regarding the disappearance of Paul Mushroom.
