In California, an accident involving a Tesla Model 3 electric car on autopilot and a pickup truck. The time of the accident the camera picked up the electric vehicle.
The footage shows that the accident happened in poor weather conditions. It was raining and the freeway was wet.
The video shows that the driver of a black pickup truck apparently could not cope with driving on the slippery road. His car crossed several lanes, spun and turned out to be just right before Tesla.
“I slammed on the brakes without waiting for the response of the autopilot. Not sure who worked faster, me or the system”, – said the owner of electrocare Troy Davis who was driving at the time of the accident.
However, Tesla crashed into a pickup truck.
It is noted that in the accident no one was hurt. The culprit fled the scene.
The owner of the electric car hopes that video footage of his car will help to find the owner of a pickup truck.
As previously reported, the Tesla Model S was involved in racing against horses.
