Tesla stops the production of the cheapest car company

The company is afraid of “competition” between their own cars.

Tesla gives up the most available version of the Model S modifications S 75. Will take orders for the electric car stopped on 24 September.

Prices for the Tesla Model S 75 began with $69 500. In this modification, the electric car has one electric motor, which transmits the traction to the rear wheels.

Now the cheapest version of the model will be a variant of the Model S 75D, which is equipped with two electric units — front & rear axles. This car will cost at least $74 500.

It is assumed that the user of “Tesla” decided to abandon the most accessible version of the Model S because of fear of internal competition with the “little” buggy Model 3.

At the moment, the Tesla Model 3 is available with a single electric motor producing 258 horsepower.

This electric car can accelerate from zero to hundred in 5.1 seconds and its top speed is 225 km / h.
