In the accident, minor injuries was the driver of the Tesla, a resident of Minnesota Dave Clark and his four passengers.
Clark does not exclude that he would seek compensation through the court. In turn, in a statement, Tesla questioned the words of the driver.
“We are working to establish the facts. We still have not established whether activated the autopilot function of the vehicle, and there is no reason to believe that the autopilot was working in emergency mode,” – said in a statement the company Tesla.
At the same time, Elon Musk confirmed in his microblog that corresponds with the injured and said that Clark admitted after turning on the autopilot, he allegedly stepped on the gas. However, Clark stressed that “really grateful to Tesla for providing security.”
Bloomberg adds that after the news of the accident, Tesla stock fell 4.4%. At auction in new York, they began to sell at a price below 2.7% — $319,02.
