As reports the edition Astro Awani, 21 people died and 22 others were injured, seven of them in critical condition.
The accident occurred in the southern state of Espirito Santo, near the municipal terminal Guarapari.
According to the publication, the truck went into the oncoming lane and crashed into a bus that shuttled between Sao Paulo and the regional capital of Espirito Santo Vitoria.
Two of the ambulance, which was driving behind the bus, was also unable to avoid a collision. Most of the victims died in the fire after the ignition of the bus.
