Ukraine will receive next tranche from the International monetary Fund in late March, said Finance Minister of Ukraine Alexander danyluk in Washington.
“Now finally needs to be resolved date of the meeting of the Board of Directors [of the IMF] this is likely to be 20-22 [Mar], maybe a little later,” – said the Minister.
Danyluk said that the decision to allocate the tranche is not earlier than two weeks after agreeing the updated Memorandum of understanding. According to the head of the Ministry of Finance, the Memorandum has been agreed during his visit to Washington.
So, the Minister noted that the updated Memorandum with the International monetary Fund includes requirements regarding the holding in Ukraine of reforms and contains, among other things, provisions for pension, land and banking reforms.
We will remind, the international monetary Fund on March 4 approved the allocation of Ukraine tranche in the amount of one billion dollars.
