The first racket of Ukraine Oleksandr Dolgopolov won his second tournament on clay in Båstad.
Dolgopolov for the second time in the season, met with Argentine Horacio Sabulosum that at Roland Garros sensationally made it to the fourth round. In the beginning of the year in Rio de Janeiro, Ukrainian beat opponent in three sets, and five months later managed it in two.
During the first set, Dolgopolov was leading 4:1 but in the eighth game Zeballos managed to make a back break. With the score 4:4 Alexander has played a break point, and in the next game caught on an opponent and opened the score in the match.
The second party was held in a similar scenario – again, the players exchanged breaks until in the tenth game Dolgopolova failed with the second match ball at a reception to end the meeting.
Alexander Dolgopolov for the first time since February made it to the quarterfinals of the ATP tournament. The next rival will be fifth-seeded Karen Khachanov.
