Want a story about how childhood ends? The crumbling friendship? As in the lives of Teens comes a murder, and then mistrust and fear? There’s really a “dark times”.
Critics praised this painting for the impressive performances of the young actors, unpredictability and tension of the plot. For Kevin Phillips this is the debut full meter. To this point he directed several short films, including “Too cool for school”, for which he was nominated for “Discovery” in Cannes. Apparently, Phillips is interested in teenage drama at the juncture with the Thriller.
“Very dark times” tell us about how
Teenagers Zach and Josh have always been best friends, but one day something terrible happened, and they decided to hide it. From this moment on, the friendship came to an end, and their life was plunged into the abyss of paranoia and violence.
The scenario belongs to Ben Collins and Luke perkowski (“Siren”).
Starring Owen Campbell (“Sentence”), Charlie Tahan (“Pine”), Lizzy Cappuccino (“Jessica Jones”), Max Talisman (“Orange is the new black”) and Sawyer Barth (“the Knick”).
Unfortunately, despite the positive criticism, to the broad rental “Very dark times” is not reached. Well, at least, October 3, the film enters the services “Video on demand”.
