India’s Tata Motors is going to conquer Europe Tigor estate.
Tata Motors, owner of Jaguar Land Rover, has always attracted European market. But while its model is not known on the Old Continent. Now the Indian manufacturer has decided to conquer the Europeans ‘ new small car Tigor, which was shown at the Geneva motor show. At first glance it looks like a hatchback, but given that the rear glass does not rise with the tailgate, the body is more like the ultimately the newest.
In fact, it is a “stripped-down” sedan, originally developed for the Indian market, which has tax limitations. They apply to cars with more than four meters in length. And since the model maker was a bit more, he had them “cut”. So Tigor was designed from scratch to fit in with tax rules. We will not judge on appearance, we can only say, the Indian manufacturer managed to do more than expected.
If the car will launch on the European market, it can become the cheapest model in its class. Expect Tata Tigor will get the best marks in EuroNCAP tests that the Indian automaker could certainly use a carefully prepared marketing campaign.
