Tanzania has detained a guide, which is properly translated

The arrest of an employee of the national Park was associated with the policy.

Tanzanian guide who deliberately distorted the translation of the speech of foreign tourists and mentioned the President, was arrested.

According to preliminary data, the man, whose identity was not disclosed, was arrested a day earlier. It operates in the Serengeti national Park in Northern Tanzania. The reasons for the arrest are unknown, as well as whether he was charged. The local police said that a guide was detained for questioning.

A Tanzanian was arrested by order of the Minister of tourism of the country Jumanne Msembe (Jumanne Mshembe). BBC News correspondent in that state suggested that the guide fell out of favor due to the fact that the quoted Tanzanian President John Magufuli when translating the speech of a foreigner. During one of his speeches in January, he called on citizens of state to stop complaining of hunger.

The guide deliberately distorted the speech of the traveler, whose name is not called, the video that became popular in the Tanzanian social networks. “Hi. My visit to Tanzania was great,” said a tourist in the video. “The people here are awesome and friendly. They always say Hello to me. Glad I was here. This country is wonderful. The animals are delightful,” she said.

“You, Tanzanians, many complain of hunger,” — began the translation guide. “Every day you cry, although you have flowers in the house. Why not cook the flowers and not to drink the water. Complain about being hungry — it is wrong,” he said.

Translating the speech of a foreigner admires Tanzania, the guide also said: “You ask your President to prepare for you. You think the President cook? Get busy, cook your clothes and eat it.”
