Team Sweden defeated the Finns and reached the final of the world hockey championship, taking place these days in Cologne and Paris.
The favorite in the second semi-final was considered the Swedes, and at the end of the second minute of the game Alexander Adler brought “Tre kronor” forward. However, the efforts of the Finns Joonas Kemppainen of quickly equalized.
The key match was the second period – in the 25th minute of the game, John Klingberg had seven minutes to implement the majority and to bring Sweden to the final. Ten minutes later the Swedes once again played the advantage to one player – this time in the gate “Suomi” Williams signed Nylander.
The Swedes no problem brought the match to the bitter end. In the final period Finns not only failed to renew the affair, but missed the fourth goal. Fat point in the match put, Jokim Nordstrom.
