The strongest tennis player of Ukrainian Elina Svitolina rose to the third line in rating WTA, and broke the national record.
Svitolina started the season outside the top 10, but five titles (Dubai, Taipei, Istanbul, Rome and Toronto), as well as a successful game in the tournament series Grand slam allowed the 22-year-old tennis player to make the spectacular jump in the world classification.
“Very happy to climb a new step of his career. Thanks to all my fans for the kind words that motivate me and add strength. This incredible season continues, move on!”, – wrote Svitolina on his page on “Instagram”.
Svitolina became the only Ukrainian who updated your record in the WTA rankings. Ekaterina Kozlova due to the victory in the 125-thousand in Dalian climbed to 83-th row, and the young Diane Yastremsky was close to entering the top 200.
Garbinie of the State, despite the departure from the US Open in the fourth round for the first time topped the WTA rankings. The champion of Roland Garros Jelena Ostapenko debuted in the top 10.
