The strongest tennis player of Ukrainian Elina Svitolina on representative hard Premier 5 tournament in Toronto, has issued the fifth title of the season.
For the victory at the “Rogers Cup” Svitolina competed with the ex-first racket of the world Caroline Wozniacki. Dane tried with the sixth final to open the scoring titles in the season. Ukrainian, on the contrary, each of the five finals in 2017 and turned in the title.
During the first set the players exchanged breaks – with the score 4:4 Svitolina once again took the feed Wozniacki, and in the next game filed for a starting party.
Dane parted and more of itself did not remind. Svitolina in 31 minutes, winning six games in a row and scored his third career title on the WTA Premier.
Victory in Toronto brought Svitolina 900 points and more than 500 thousand dollars in prize money. The Ukrainian scored the tenth win of the season over a player of the top 10, and for the first time in his career he won four Victoria on one of the tournament.
Monday newly minted 9-times champion of tournaments of WTA will be the fourth racket of the world and lead the title race.
