The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina once again updated the national record in the rating of Female tennis Association.
At Roland Garros, Svitolina is the second time in his career he reached the quarterfinals, where in a dramatic lost to future finalist of the tournament is Simona Halep.
Due to the regression Garbine Muguruza, failed to defend 2000 points for last year’s victory in the Open championship of France Svitolina has progressed by one position and for the first time in his career entered the top 5 of the WTA rankings.
Also Svitolina became the first racket of the world among female tennis players, whose age does not exceed 25 years. Behind Ukrainian women are sensational champion of Roland Garros Jelena Ostapenko, Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic, and Muguruza Garbinie.
In the coming weeks, the Ukrainian can progress to fourth place, as Serena Williams pregnancy halted his career. To expect more is difficult Svitolina – Angelique Kerber, Simona Halep and Karolina Pliskova significantly detached from Ukrainka.
The second racket of Ukraine Lesya Tsurenko with its debut hit in the third round of Roland Garros progressed on five lines and is located on the 37th position, which is four steps below personal best tennis player.
