“Make preventive inoculations, if your work is connected with risk of infection, particularly if you work for a veterinarian, game warden, Forester, laboratories, working with animals,” she said.

According to acting Minister, the party of 15 thousand doses of vaccines for the prevention of rabies are sent to the regions of Ukraine. Just purchased 93 thousand doses.
“Anti-rabies vaccine intended for the prevention and treatment of rabies in children and adults, purchased and delivered by the Agency Crown Agents in Ukraine from the state budget. The next batch of vaccines will be delivered in the course of the year,” said Suprun.
She stressed that in 99% of cases people the rabies virus transmitted by dogs.
