State statistics Committee reported about the growth of Ukraine’s economy

In General, during the year, the economy grew by 1.8%.

The state statistics service published a rapid assessment of the gross domestic product of Ukraine for the fourth quarter.

According to preliminary data, in October-December GDP growth was 4.7% compared to the same period in 2015 and 1.9% compared to the third quarter of 2016 (taking into account the seasonal factor), according to the website of the state statistics.

In General, the gross domestic product of Ukraine in 2016 has increased by 1.8%, announced in late January, Deputy Finance Minister Oksana Markarova.

Recall that in the first quarter of 2016, the growth was 0.1% in the second and 1.4% in the third and 1.8%. That is, the rate of economic growth in Ukraine accelerated.

The NBU expects that in 2017 the economy will grow by 2.8%, and in 2018 – 3%.
