“Spiridon and Matron” in Russian aircraft were given the names of saints

This news has caused a lot of ridicule.

Russian airline “Iraero” together with the Russian Orthodox Church sanctified obtained in 2016-2017, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 and gave them the names of saints.

Aircraft assigned names Spyridon, Matrona of Moscow, of Vladimir the Baptist, Xenia of St. Petersburg, Peter the Apostle, the Apostle Paul, Sergius of Radonezh, Seraphim of Sarov and Alexander Nevsky.

This news has caused mixed reactions from social media users.
