Units of the countries-participants of the international exercises “Sea Breeze 2017” worked out elements of a landing on the island tendrov spit.
The legend of the exercises, this island is the uncontrolled territories, where there are warehouses of weapons and ammunition. Illegal groups have been smuggling them to one of the regions of Ukraine. Task for all units is the implementation of the landing and destruction detachment the depots of artillery weapons.
For the first time in the history of the international exercise “Sea Breeze” was involved in all three components of the State border service of Ukraine. During the training operation, a Deposit of mortar border commandant rapid response Izmail group in cooperation with the Marines carried out landing on the island.
Thanks to the coordinates provided by the border aviation, base weapons have been destroyed. In parallel vessels of the state border service and the Navy has implemented measures for the destruction of the enemy fleet off the coast of the island. Just working out of this element of the exercise involved about 20 ships and boats, 10 helicopters and a plane.
