Wife from UK has invested all available funds in the transformation of several caves in a unique hotel.
54-year-old decorator mark and his wife Shirley, a former commercial representative, last 8 years spent living and working in southern Spain.
They both liked to spend the weekend in a traditional Spanish house-a cave that they decided to open a mini-hotel in a similar style.
For this they bought for 25 thousand euros, property in Andalusia on the southern coast of Spain, sometimes called the “land of caves”.
But before to become true hoteliers, spouses had to make a repair that cost 50 thousand euros.
During the renovation, the couple combined several caves in the mini-hotel B&B consisting of 3 rooms.
And although at the time of work problems with a building permit, the British still managed to realize his dream into reality.
They have also invested 17 million euros in a Deluxe pool…
… and 4 thousand euros in landscaping.
8 months after start of work, by November 2016, the construction of the hotel was completed — just in time to welcome its first guests.
We will add that the couple expects to get from hotel the annual income of 20 thousand euros — given the fact that the hotel night in the cave will cost 120 euros.
