Company SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 with a cargo spacecraft Dragon Cargo on Board. Joining the “truck” with the International space station is scheduled for Monday, may 6.
Broadcast of the launch were SpaceX and NASA. The Falcon 9 was launched on Saturday, may 4, at 2:48 local time from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral (Florida, USA).
After separation of the first stage Cargo Dragon successfully entered orbit and the rocket made a controlled landing on a floating platform in the Atlantic ocean.
The cargo version of Dragon will deliver to the International space station with food and equipment for scientific experiments.
