Space Agency of Japan has released the first images taken by a drone that runs on the International space station (ISS). A spherical drone was sent into orbit to take pictures and videos of the work astronauts.
The drone floats in zero gravity, showing life on the ISS, and is operated from the Ground. The Japanese aerospace exploration Agency (JAXA) said that the drone was delivered to the ISS in early June. But only now has released the first images and videos.
According to Japanese space Agency, the drone can move in Autonomous mode or be manually controlled, making photos and shooting video from any angle.
The only drone created for shooting photos and videos so far was done only by astronauts. According to JAXA, is currently “shooting is about 10% of the time drone”.
