Progress MS-05 staff sunk in the Pacific ocean.
Space cargo ship Progress MS-05, undocked from the International space station, splashed down in the Pacific ocean. This was reported in the mission control Center.
“The ship entered the dense layers of the atmosphere and the staff was sunk in the Pacific ocean at 00:46 GMT Friday,” he said at MCC.
After the first accident, which occurred at the beginning of December 2016, the space truck Progress MS-05 docked with the ISS on 24 February.
The spacecraft delivered to the ISS about 2.5 tons of various cargoes, including fuel, compressed gases, spacesuit Orlan-MKS, equipment for scientific experiments, medical provisions, as well as containers with food and water, expendable equipment, parcels for the ISS crew.
