The company will review the design of future smartphones
During a recent interview with Kenichiro Hebe, the head of the Indian subsidiary of Sony, with the publication The Indian Express, the representative of the Japanese Corporation made an interesting statement about the design of their future smartphones.
The latest devices from the manufacturer were performed in the signature OmniBalance design to the front and rear sides smoothly into each other through rounded side faces. But when the head of Sony India asked whether the company to change the design of future smartphones, he gave a positive response.
“We’re going to apply the concept of OmniBalance design as long as the X-series will be available on the market. In addition, we plan to launch a new generation of products, and you can count on the new design of these devices,” said Kenichiro Hebe.
The head of Sony India did not go into details, but acknowledged that many competitors now produce edge-to-edge smartphone with a high ratio of the display area of the device. So it is possible that future Sony smartphones will lose a large frame around the screen.
