Unique photo was taken by a NASA Observatory.
The solar dynamics Observatory, NASA has made the unusual thread which is formed in the active region on the Sun 29-31 Oct. The picture was published on the Agency’s website.
As the researchers note, the solar filaments are clouds of charged particles that rise above the surface of the star, but remain associated with it due to the magnetic forces. Usually they resemble a long, uneven strands, but pictured here education is like a circle. Scientists emphasize that such threads are very rare, before this thread this form was able to observe only a few times.
To the left of the sun thread you can see a large coronal hole.
