Billions of snails captured popular beach in Florida.
Everywhere on the shores of Saint Pete beach where one’s eye – brown carpet of tiny shellfish. The dream of a lover of exotic dishes! Snails also spotted on the beach in Fort de Soto.
Video was shot by nature lover Michael McCarthy last weekend when on the sandy shore and crawled to the multitude of molluscs.
Vacationers often encounter these miniature creatures in the Bay area of San Francisco, but not in such huge quantities.
It’s not clear why the snail decided to escape to the coast, but it’s certainly worthy of viewing.
