The company OPPO has confirmed its desire to enter the Russian market, while Xiaomi Meizu for a couple of captured it. Today it became known about the signing of contracts for the sale of smartphones OPPO in most major retail chains, including Euroset and Svyaznoy.
According to the presented data, buy OPPO smartphones will succeed in M. Video and the salons of MegaFon, in addition to the shops of Euroset and Svyaznoy. In the future the number of partners will grow, but still, they had exactly four. Recall that OPPO has tried to start its expansion into the mobile market of Russia in 2013, but it didn’t work for obvious reasons – its smartphones are much more expensive counterparts, but its brand in our country is not very popular. The Russians simply did not pay and gave preference to familiar brands at a more affordable price.
By the way, in China, OPPO is one of the most popular brands, and globally it is among the five leaders in the number of smartphones sold, but Russia is untouched: even in China the OPPO smartphones are more expensive than Xiaomi and similar internals, so that in our market the situation is unlikely to be another. In short, a good smartphone makes OPPO, but buy we, of course, will not.
