Most of the people already in my life to do a lot of travelling every vacation spent at the shore of a new sea, or in the investigation of another European country, calm, experienced and seasoned travelers.

Lately, especially popular are beginning to use forgotten all the gods of the place, the surroundings are reminiscent of a scene from a post-apocalyptic film. Maybe the reason DC voltage in the foreign environment — not preparing the people to new full of dangers and inconveniences of life? We did some research and gathered five of the most popular and strangely beautiful post-apocalyptic places for tourism, which is able to impress the most seasoned travelers — and certainly will remain forever in the memory of any traveler.
The emerald Isle of Montserrat

The local Soufrière volcano awoke in 1995 and was buried by its eruption two thirds of this tiny island. In this small, forgotten of all gods the place has fallen, according to some scientists, the meteorite that ended the age of dinosaurs. Half of the remaining after the crater is at the moment under water, the other is readily available to researchers. The locals offer a fascinating tour of both parts of the crater — what could be more epic than a touch to the history of our planet!
Wrangel Island

Wrangel island has a curious history. This is one of the few plots of land that escaped glaciation in the last Glacial period. Scientists believe that here in the Arctic tundra, roamed the world of the last mammoths. Today, tourists come here for an unforgettable experience. Here, there are still animals that can be considered a true relic of a bygone era — the musk ox, Pacific walrus, snowy owl and a fairly large population of polar bears.

This is the worst possible for human existence place on our planet. When the sun goes down, smoke beginning to emerge from cracks under your feet, and the eerie, blood red glow comes from lava lakes, of which there are as many as five pieces. The temperature reaches 55 degrees Celsius: go here can venture only the bravest traveler.
The Namib Desert

That’s where they filmed the main scenes of the recent hit “Mad Max: fury Road.” The ocean once covered this now arid, unforgiving desert landscape of South-West Africa. Sand, dunes and cliffs — the perfect setting for any post-apocalyptic movie. So here and every year many tourists who want to personally touch the history. Despite the gloomy atmosphere, here prefer to train sandboarder for which high dune — home.
