Shovkovskiy could go to Bayern or Valencia

Former goalkeeper of “Dynamo” and national team of Ukraine Olexandr shovkovskyi has told how in his time he was interested in the giants of European football.

“Offer really was, but for one reason or another I never went. I didn’t want to let go, at some point happen certain situations that influenced my decision.

Was interest from “Parma”, “Valencia” and “Bavaria”. But it so happened that I stayed in “Dinamo”, and then to go somewhere didn’t make sense,” said Shovkovskiy in the program “Double W”.

After Dynamo his entire career (1993-2016), shovkovskyi almost 23 years was the permanent first room of the capital club. The goalkeeper played in the shirt “white-blue” 633 match, including more than a hundred matches in European tournaments. In the national team of Ukraine Alexander from 1994 to 2012 played 92 matches and conceded 74 goals.

Olexandr shovkovskyi retired in December last year. The legendary Ukrainian goalkeeper retired from football in the status of the 14-times champion of Ukraine, semi-finalists of the Champions League and UEFA Cup, and world Cup quarterfinalist 2006.
